Jenny is the artsy fartsy type. Since she was very young she loved all things arts and crafts. When it came time to go to college she was torn between being a surgeon or veterinarian and being an artist. Ultimately art won out and she earned an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design. As she attended college she worked at an Assisted Living Facility and loved helping and associating with the residents. Over the years she has worked as a graphic designer, an executive assistant, and a program secretary for Lockheed Martin. As a child she spent 7 years living in different Latin countries and learned to speak Spanish. In her 20’s she lived with her grandparents for a few years. Her grandmother suffered a stroke within the first year and needed 24/7 care. Jenny learned skills that allowed her to help care for her grandmother’s needs as she helped her father, aunts and eventually the live-in nursing aids.  Jenny and Mitch have been together for nearly 23 years and they have 3 children ranging from 14-8 years old. True to her nature (and that of her husband’s) she has taken in family and friends multiple times as the needs arose. She finds great fulfillment in serving and helping those around her. She is excited to be able to make a difference with Legacy Independent Living.
